Halle 9 Stand B 47: Wir resümieren den Auftritt von atene KOM als „Breitbandbüro des Bundes“ (BBB) auf der CeBIT, welcher von den interessierten Besuchern bestens angenommen wurde. Private Personen sowie Teilnehmer aus Politik und Wirtschaft konnten ihre Fragen zu Fördermitteln, Ausbau, Vorgehensweisen und aktueller Lage der Versorgung mit Breitbandinternet hier beantwortet wissen. Integriert in den Auftritt des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Technologie verfügte die atene KOM als „Breitbandbüro des Bundes“ (BBB) nicht nur über kompetente Berater, sondern konnte zudem eine aufklärende Rolle für wissbegierige Besucher übernehmen. Das anschauliche 3D-Modell wurde von den Ansprechpartnern ausführlich erklärt und eine Bewertung über den aktuellen Stand des Breitbandinternetausbaus in Deutschland vorgenommen. Die auf dem Eisenbahnmodellbau beruhende Darstellung veranschaulichte die Leitungen und Empfangsleistungen verschiedener Technologien und ihre Installationsarten vom Mobilfunkmast über Microtrenching Verfahren bis hin zur Nutzung von Synergieeffekten an Straßen und Schienenwegen.
Den Besuchern wurde darüber hinaus ein „Erkenntnispfad zum Breitbandausbau“ bereitgestellt, zu dem ein Kreuzworträtsel angeboten wurde, um sich mit dem Thema Breitbandinternet intensiver auseinanderzusetzen. Das Bewusstsein für die Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Breitbandinternet und die technischen sowie rechtlichen Grundlagen wurde damit haptisch gestärkt.
Die Beratung wurde von fachpolitischen und –wirtschaftlichen Entscheidungsträgern sowie von Personen aus unterversorgten Gebieten aufgesucht. Vor Ort wurden die wichtigsten Fragen zu Technologielösungen, Förderung und Finanzierung beantwortet. Weiterführende Fragestellungen werden individuell vom „Breitbandbüro des Bundes“ (BBB) im Anschluss an die CeBIT bearbeitet, um eine bestmögliche und abschließende Beratung zu garantieren. Um dies zu ermöglichen, wurde das Beratungssystem des Kontaktcenters des Breitbandbüros live auf der Cebit installiert und von den Beratern genutzt.
Abschließend möchten wir auf die von der atene KOM gesponserte Veranstaltung
„4. Deutsches GeoForum 2011
– Erneuerbare Energien und Geoinformationen“ hinweisen, welche am 11. und 12. April 2011 in Berlin stattfindet. Das Deutsche GeoForum ist die zentrale, jährlich stattfindende Kommunikationsplattform des DDGI e. V. Die atene KOM erkennt den Mehrwert von Geoinformationen und unterstützt diesen Austausch, bei dem das Thema „Erneuerbare Energien und Geoinformationen“ sowohl von fachpolitischer als auch von fachtechnischer Seite aus beleuchtet wird. Zielgruppe sind Vertreter aus Politik, Verwaltung und Wirtschaft aus den Bereichen Geoinformation und Erneuerbare Energien.

Madam,
Hall 9, booth B 47: We sum up the presentation of atene KOM appearing as the “Federal Broadband Office” (BBB) at the CeBIT which has been honored properly by the interested visitors. Questions of subsidies, support, policies and current state of supply with broadband internet from private persons as well as participants from economics and politics could be answered satisfactorily.
Integrated into the presentation of the German Ministry of Economics and Technologies (BMWi), the atene KOM appearing as the “Federal Broadband Office” (BBB) not just possessed qualified consultants but furthermore could take over the role of an information platform for curious visitors. The illustrative 3D model has been explained comprehensively by the persons in charge. At this, they could undertake an assessment of the actual broadband development. The presentation – based on railway model-making – illustrates the conductions and the reception performance of different technologies and installation methods from cell towers and microtrenching to the usage of synergy effects of roads and rails.
Beyond that a “path of awareness to a broadband development” has been provided for the visitors which included a crossword puzzle. The path effected a more intensive involvement with the matter of broadband. The awareness of the fields of application for broadband internet as well as for the technical and legal foundations could be risen or enhanced.
The consultation has been utilized by policy and economy decision makers as well as by persons from underserved regions. At the scene, important questions have been clarified – technology solutions, financing and promotion. Pursuing questions will be processed individually subsequent to the CeBIT to guaranty the best possible and conclusive advice. To realize this, the consultation system of the contact centre of the „Federal Broadband Office“ (BBB) has been installed at the CeBIT and has been used by the consultants.
Finally, we would like to inform you about the event “4th German GeoForum 2011 – Renewable Energies and Geographical Information” which is sponsored by the atene KOM. It takes place on April the 11th and April the 12th 2011. The German GeoForum is the central communication platform of the German Umbrella Organization for Geographic Information e. V. (DDGI e. V.). The atene KOM discerns the additional value of geographic information and supports this exchange. The theme “Renewable Energies and Geographical Information” will be examined from vantage points of skilled politics as well as of skilled techniques. The target group consists of representatives of politics, administration and economics.
